John Groce sends holiday message to players

Illinois basketball is off for Christmas. The Illini's next game is not until Saturday against Auburn. As John Groce addressed the media after last Saturday's game against Missouri, the coach showed why he is a family man. He shared his thoughts on spending time with family, given tragic events around the nation. Groce added the team should focus on their families during the time off and will refocus after Christmas.
