CHAMPAIGN - Illinois defensive tackle Akeem Spence made it official today; he will skip his senior season and enter the NFL draft.  Spence made the announcement at a news conference this morning.

Spence will graduate with a degree in communications this weekend, and he said he has done all he can do individually at the collegiate level.  He was honorable mention All-Big Ten this past season, and now he will move back home to Florida to work on improving his draft stock.
