Illini senior earning national acclaim

CHAMPAIGN - Illinois' Brandon Paul is gaining national attention for his hot start to the season.  The senior was recently names ESPN's National Player of the Week for his MVP performance at the Maui Invitational.

Paul is one of the big reasons why Illinois is 7-0.  He is shooting 42% from 3-point range, and the Illini lead the nation in 3-point shooting.  But it's what Paul is doing in the practice gym and off the court that has impressed John Groce the most.
