The day after Thanksgiving has become Championship Friday for Rochester. The Rockets earn their third straight title, blowing out Rock Island Alleman 42-18.

"It means a lot to everyone," said Rochester Head Coach Derek Leonard. "They are a good football team but also good people."

Senior Austin Green said this small community has rallied around the program over the years. And the support has paid off. There was another strong turnout from the Rocket fans.

"We live off of this," Green, an EIU commit, said.

Rochester will once again send players to a collegiate football team, namely Garret Dooley who will play for the Wisconsin Badgers next season. But it will be hard for this senior class, who will have three state titles to their name, to let go of this run.

"I'll never forget it," said senior wide out Blake Pasley.
