Crawford carries Illini past Cleveland State

The Illini bounced back after a loss to Bradley on Thursday, improving to 2-1. Illinois forced 21 turnovers while only committing nine. Karisma Penn also chipped in 17 points and five boards
Crawford's output was the first 30 point effort since Amber Moore's 31 last year.
Coach Matt Bollant was surprised by the sophomore guard's performance. But he did see glimpses of it. After the game, he said he had scouted Crawford years ago, saying she was one of the best point guards he had ever seen. The Chicago native lived up to the hype today.
Illinois travels to the Bahamas to take on Tulsa on Friday
