Bates-Diop commits to Ohio State

One of the top recruits in the nation is heading to a Big Ten school. But it is not Illinois.

Keita Bates-Diop selected Ohio State over other Big Ten schools like Illinois, Purdue and Michigan. Bates Diop is considered a national Top 25 recruit.

The junior is the first commit in Thad Matta's 2014 class.

Bates-Diop made a verbal pledge to the Buckeyes. He cannot sign a letter of intent until his senior year. This commitment is non-binding, so he can decommit before signing day.
