HONOLULU, Hawaii - Illinois senior DJ Richardson drained a three-pointer at the buzzer to lift Illinois to a 78-77 overtime win over the host Hawaii Rainbow Warriors late Friday night.  Illinois (3-0) trailed by as many as 16 points in the game, but they stayed in the game thanks to outstanding efforts from Tracy Abrams (22 pts) and Brandon Paul (25 pts).  But it was Richardson's three-pointer with 0:01 left on the clock that sealed Illinois' come-from-behind victory.
