HONOLULU, Hawaii - The Illinois basketball team will face it's first real tests of the year in the next few days.  They've got their first true road game tonight against Hawaii, and then they'll face their first major conference opponents in the Maui Invitational next week.

As John Groce implements his new system, it also comes with an attitude adjustment.  The Illini are 2-0, and Groce will be the first to tell you they haven't accomplished anything yet.  Getting that message to his players is one of his top priorities.
