CHAMPAIGN - Illinois used a 15-0 run late in the first half to put away St. Francis (NY) by a final score of 89-64. Senior Tyler Griffey led the way for Illinois (2-0) with a game-high 17 points, 13 of those coming in the first half. Sophomore Tracy Abrams chipped in 15. Brandon Paul added 14. Illinois now heads to Hawaii, where they will take on Hawaii Friday night before starting play in the Maui Invitational Monday.
