Protection limiting production for Illini offense

CHAMPAIGN - If you're looking for the root of the problem for the Illinois football team this year, look no further than the offensive line.  It's an inexperienced group as a whole, and one that has been the worst in the Big Ten through eight games.

The Illini O-line has allowed 30 sacks this season; that's 12 more than any other team in the Big Ten.  It's no wonder Illinois' offense is scoring the fewest points in the league, and that's not sitting well with Tim Beckman.
