Illinois football had plenty of time to reflect on what went wrong in the season's first seven games. At 2-5, the Illini face an uphill battle as they host an improved Indiana team, then go on the road to Ohio State afterward.

The bye week allowed the team to get rested, which is vital for the Illini because of all the injuries that have piled up recently.

Tim Beckman says the players and coaches made some deep reflections during the off week, and will look to improve on it's underachieving record. But history shows the Illini do not do well after the bye week. They are 11-17 in those situations.

Illinois kicks off against Indiana on Saturday at 11 a.m.
