Groce debuts with Orange & Blue scrimmage

CHAMPAIGN - Senior DJ Richardson led the way for Illinois with 18 points, and Nnanna Egwu chipped in 12 points (6-8 FG) as the Orange team beat the Blue 55-42 in the annual Orange and Blue scrimmage.  The "game" was the first chance for fans to see John Groce's new system in action.  Illinois will play it's exhibition opener Saturday night against Lewis.
