CHAMPAIGN - Illinois basketball coach John Groce said if there is one player his new fast-paced system will benefit, it will be Joseph Bertrand.  The junior could be the most athletic player on the team, and now he may get to let his raw ability shine through.

Bertrand exploded onto the scene last year; he played in all 32 games and started 14.  He averaged almost seven points per game, but if he is able to run free and just make plays he could be one of the Big Ten's top breakout players.
