Defense "caught up in the hoopla"

CHAMPAIGN - We're starting to get some answers as to why the Illinois defense has regressed into one of the worst in the Big Ten after being one of the best in the country last year.

The players say it's all mental right now.

They have given up more points than any other Big Ten team, including the 31 they gave up at Wisconsin.  Linebacker Jonathan Brown says they got "caught up in all the hoopla" and got away from doing what they do best.
