CHAMPAIGN - The Illinois defense insists their confidence isn't shaken after another rocky performance performance last week, and they're looking forward to a fresh start this weekend when they start Big Ten play against Penn St.

It wasn't even close to the defensive performance fans were hoping for Saturday.  Illinois allowed more than 400 total yards, almost 300 of them through the air; and they allowed more than 40 points for the second time in three games.  Despite all that, they say they still believe they can be a great defense.
