CHAMPAIGN - Illinois basketball fans won't be able to see some of the state's top recruits up close and personal this year.  The annual Shootout at the Hall has been cancelled this year because NCAA rules prohibit it.

Last year organizers moved it from Assembly Hall to Parkland College.  However the Champaign County Convention and Visitors' Bureau wants to bring it back to Assembly Hall, and they're trying to find a way to make it happen in 2013.
