Illini work to solve communication problem

CHAMPAIGN - When Illinois takes the field against Louisiana Tech Saturday night, they will be facing an offense very similar to what they saw from Arizona State.  The Sun Devils shredded the Illinois defense thanks to major communication problems for the Illini "D".

Arizona State racked up 510 yards of total offense, and the players say Louisiana Tech's offense is even faster than that.  In Tempe, they were playing so fast Illinois couldn't get the right defensive play calls in time, and it is an issue they hope they have fixed for this week.
