Illini focusing on themselves - not on CSU

CHAMPAIGN - This weekend's Illinois football game isn't as much about if they win; it is more about how they win.  Nobody expects Charleston Southern - a small school with an enrollment of about 3,300 - to seriously challenge Illinois.

Instead, it is a chance for Illinois to build some confidence as they inch closer to the Big Ten season.  Saturday's loss at Arizona State raised a lot of red flags about if Illinois can move the ball without Nathan Scheelhaase or if the defense is really as good as advertised.

This Saturday it's not about the win, it's about the performance.
