CHAMPAIGN - Now is the time for the seniors on the Illinois football team to step up and take the reigns to try to get them back on track after Saturday's loss in Tempe, Ariz.

The result of this week's game against FCS-opponent Charleston Southern isn't as important as the way they play.

Can the offense be as consistent as head coach Tim Beckman wants?

Can the defense bounce back and play like one of the country's best?

It is up to the seniors to lead the way, and so far this week they have done it.
