CHAMPAIGN - Illinois football coach Tim Beckman told reporters Wednesday Nathan Scheelhaase (sprained ankle) is "much further along" now than he was at this point last week. Scheelhaase practiced Wednesday, and Beckman said he looked good. It is still unclear if that means Scheelhaase will be under center Saturday.
