CHAMPAIGN - On a team that Tim Beckman says lacks depth at a lot of positions, the secondary is actually getting deeper by the day - but not exactly the way Beckman would like.

The secondary has been battling a whole lot of bumps and bruises this fall.  Terry Hawthorne, Supo Sanni, and Steve Hull have all been banged up.  That gives a lot of young guys a chance to get some quality reps in practice, which will only help them get through a grueling season.
