Illinois defensive coordinator Vic Koenning has received an offer to remain as defensive coordinator into next season, and he has until Wednesday to decide if he'll accept.  New head coach Tim Beckman had originally offered Koenning a chance to stay at Illinois, but in a co-coordinator role.  Koenning then said Beckman called him back Tuesday morning to offer him the full defensive coordinator position.  Koenning has until Wednesday to decide.
