Illinois downs Gonzaga, remains unbeaten

Illinois moves to 8-0 after defeating #18 Gonzaga 82-75. Four Illini players had double digit point totals, including Meyers Leonard, who had 21 points.

The Illini shot better than the Bulldogs, shooting more than 53% from the field compared to 51% by the Zags. Gonzaga center Robert Sacre scored 16 points but eventually fouled out.

DJ Richardson scored 19 points while Brandon Paul chipped in with 13 points.
