CHAMPAIGN - We are just a little more than a week away from the season opener for the Illinois baseball team.  They start the year with a three-game series at Tennessee Tech beginning Friday, February 15.

The Illini say they are hungry after just missing out on the playing in the Big Ten Tournament last year.  They say the have some quality experience coming back, and they're ready to make some noise after a disappointing end to last season.
