CHAMPAIGN - The Illini women's basketball team is inching toward Big Ten play.  Last year they started conference play with seven straight losses, and if they want to reverse that head coach Matt Bollant says it will start on the defensive side of the ball.

Illinois has the athletes and the pace to score with anybody, but defense has been a problem from time to time.  With two games to go before conference play, the "D" is the focus for Bollant and the Illini.
