CHAMPAIGN - Illinois senior Darryl Thomas was named Big Ten Wrestler of the Week after he went undefeated and beat two top 20 opponents last Saturday at the Journeyman Duals.

It has been a great start to the year for the Orange and Blue.  They're ranked fifth in the country heading into next weekend's Northern Iowa Open.

They'll compete in the Midlands Championships at the end of the month as they try to prove they are one of the best teams in America.
