Defense focused on new heights

RANTOUL - All eyes will be on the Illinois defense this year as they try to prove once again they are one of the best units in the country.  Last season the Illini exploded onto the national scene, ranking seventh in the country in total defense.

New defensive coordinator Tim Banks says he has not had to do any motivating.  He says his guys have done a great job putting last year behind them, and they are focused on being even better this year.
