WCIA 3's VIEWER’S CLUB CARD OFFICIAL RULES

The Viewer’s Club Card (VCC) is: a discount and cash giveaway card available to any person who applies for it. Each card issued will have a unique number. The holder of the VCC can use it at any of the identified participants (see official participant list) as long as its use is within guidelines of the participant agreement with WCIA. Use of the VCC must comply with all applicable laws. The VCC itself does not hold any cash value.
How to obtain the VCC: The VCC can be obtained by filling out an application 1) in person at the WCIA studios in Champaign or at a station event 2) on the internet at www.WCIA.com or 3) by mailing an application to:

Only one card per person will be issued.
CONTEST DATES: Will be announced in advance and add to Official Rules when available. WCIA reserves the right to temporarily suspend contest without notice.
CONTEST OVERVIEW: Each Weekday during the 6 and 10pm newscasts one VCC number will be identified. The registered cardholder has between 8am and 5pm the following business day to contact WCIA at 1-217-356-8333 or email us at viewersclub@wcia.com. A WCIA representative will coordinate a time with winner to physically claim their prize. All prizes must be claimed in person at the WCIA studios within 30 days of winning. Chosen VCC’s for Prize Giveaway will become ineligible for contest participation within a 3 month window. Windows are defined as Jan 1-Mar. 31, Apr. 1-June30, Jul 1-Sept. 30, Oct. 1-Dec. 31 of each calendar year.
To win a person must: Have their card number broadcast on the air during the 6 & 10pm news Monday - Friday. The holder of the card will have from 8am to 5pm the following business day to call the WCIA Champaign offices at (217)356-8333 to claim the prize and coordinate the time for them to pick-up the prize. The winner must provide WCIA 3 Viewers Club card plus proof of age, address, Social Security Card or Valid Driver's License. Persons less than 18 years of age are eligible to hold winning VCC numbers. However, those VCC's of persons under the age of 18 will be considered the property of their parent or legal guardian. Prizes will be awarded to the winning cardholder represented by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 18. If the winning VCC holder is unable to present proof of guardianship, person becomes ineligible for prize.
PRIZES: Chance to win $200 each weeknight.
Official Rules: Rules and prizes are subject to change without prior notification. Official rules will be available at the WCIA Champaign studios and posted on the internet at www.WCIA.com. The most recently dated contest rules in the WCIA public file will supercede all other rules.
Exclusions: Employees of WCIA, vendors, contractors and immediate members of families of WCIA, Nexstar Broadcasting and participating sponsors are not eligible to win the on-air prizes. Employees of WCIA, vendors, contractors and immediate members of families of WCIA, Nexstar Broadcasting and participating sponsors are eligible for discounts and all other aspects of the Viewers Club Card.
