In Crime Watch tonight, investigators need your help finding the man who mugged him. It happened in the 800-block of North Walnut Street on Saturday, May 23rd. Amy Swartzwelder with the Champaign Police Department describes it as "..a high crime area for robbery and burglary." The man was walking north when another man approached him, hit him in the head and knocked him down. The suspect took the man's wallet and ran off. It happened around 2:30 in the morning. Swartzwelder says, "Bars close at two o'clock, you have drunk people walking home and we have the homeless people who are up and about walking around as well." Champaign police are looking for a black man in his 40's, under 5-feet 6-inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a white short-sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
