    Champaign, IL (Sports Network) - The Illinois Fighting Illini piled up 500 yards in total offense and rolled over the Michigan Wolverines 38-13 in a Big Ten affair at Memorial Stadium.

    Mikel LeShoure ran for 150 yards and a touchdown and Jason Ford added 128 yards and a score on 12 carries, as the Illini (2-6, 1-5 Big Ten) snapped a five-game losing skid. Juice William chipped with 97 yards and a score on the ground, while also completing 8-of-11 pass attempts for 123 yards and another touchdown.

    Tate Forcier was 13-for-23 through the air for 257 yards for Michigan (5-4, 1-4), which has lost four straight league games. Carlos Brown ran for 94 yards and a score in the losing cause.

    The Illini opened the scoring when Arrelious Benn scored on a three-yard run six minutes into the first quarter.

    The Wolverines answered back six minutes later, as Brown scored on a two-yard run.

    Jason Olesnavage gave Michigan a 10-7 lead, booting a 29-yard field goal midway through the second quarter. He then extended his team's lead to 13-7 with a 42-yard kick with just under two minutes left in the half.

    The Illini struck back six minutes into the third quarter when LeShoure ran 70 yards for a touchdown. Williams gave Illinois a 21-13 lead after hitting London Davis with a two-yard touchdown toss less than four minutes later.

    Williams added a three-yard touchdown run a minute before the quarter ended.

    Matt Eller extended the Illinois lead to 31-13 with a 23-yard field goal with just over nine minutes left in the game.

    Ford's 79-yard touchdown run with just under two minutes left completed the scoring.

    Illinois limited Michigan to just 113 rushing yards, while gaining 377 yards on the ground itself.
