Village leaders are looking to clean up an old problem in Mahomet. The Village is working out a plan to go in and take out contaminated soil underneath the hen house restaurant. About 10-years ago, tanks from an old gas station leaked and got into the ground water and soil. Since then, people in the area have not been able to their drink well water. The project could get the green light later in the month.
