Lewis is reunited with Vikings head coach Brad Childress, who played was the Eagles' offensive coordinator during Lewis' tenure in Philadelphia In six NFL seasons, Lewis has 23 starts, but he has 127 catches for 1,699 yards with seven touchdowns. During the offseason, the Eagles traded him to the New England Patriots for a seventh-round pick. But Lewis was one of the Patriots' last cuts, released to make room for rookie defensive back Bret Lockett. |
