steps to enrolling at DACC are as simple as 1, 2, 3, 4.
Submit
a completed application to the Admissions/Registration Office.
Official transcripts from previously attended colleges/universities should also
be forwarded to the DACC Records office.
Attend
a New Student Orientation.
Call 217-443-8708 to sign up for orientation. This will answer many of your
questions and get you started on the right foot. New Student Orientation sessions
are especially important for full-time or degree-seeking students. Special
parent/student sessions are also available.
Take
the placement assessment.
The placement assessment may be necessary in some programs for successful
course placement. Call 217-443-8708 to sign up for assessment. Call
217-443-8801 to determine if assessment is needed.
Register
for class!
Students who plan to pursue a degree, transfer credits to another school, or
who plan to attend full-time (12 credit hours or more), should make an
appointment to meet with an Academic Advisor or Counselor at 217-443-8750.
Part-time students (less than 12 credit hours) can register through the
Admissions/Registration office via phone, 217-443-8800, in person, or online at
www.dacc.edu.
