Question: What do I need to know or what information do I need before selecting a range?

Answer: Gas ranges. A gas range will use one of two types of fuel: NG (Natural Gas) of L.P. (Propane). Most consumers have natural gas. If you live in town you will most likely have natural gas. Consumers who live in rural areas will typically have propane. Gas ranges, just like gas dryers, do not come with flexible gas line. Your existing flex line will be used, or you may purchase a new gas flex line. It important for us to know if the rigid gas supply line is copper or galvanized/black pipe.

*NOTE-Gas ranges do not come from the manufacture ready for propane; they will have to be converted. Most brands include a conversion kit at no charge.

Electric ranges use only electricity for power and do not come with a cord. In most cases your existing cord will be used, or you may purchase a new cord.
