That is why we have designed our schedule to accommodate our patient's busy lives.
Most importantly, we want to see you on time for your appointment. We
ask that all of our patients arrive five minutes before their scheduled
appointment to allow for checking in and brushing. Our goal is to see
every patient at his or her exact appointment time. Keeping on schedule
is our main goal.
We have carefully evaluated each procedure we do in our office and have
assigned specific time in our schedule for each appointment. Our longer
procedures are done throughout the day and our shorter procedures are
done in the early morning and late afternoon. This gives our patient's
a variety of options to choose from.
Because most patients prefer early morning or late in the afternoon,
accommodating all of our patients is impossible. We will always do our
best to give you the appointment time that best fits into your
schedule.
Due to the advanced technology associated with the appliances we use,
appointments are less frequent than in the past. Most of our patients
are seen on a regular basis every six to ten weeks. On the average,
even if all appointments were scheduled during school hours this would
be about one class per quarter.
Dr. Shafer feels that scheduling each appointment with one on one
doctor time is essential. He wants to ensure that every patient is
monitored closely and receives the quality treatment that they deserve.
We appreciate our patients and always strive to make your orthodontic
experience a pleasant one. We look forward to having you as a patient.
