This fall, UFL Reads recognizes Banned Books Week (September 26-October 3, 2009) by reading three controversial books. Our selections were all challenged for various reasons in libraries during the past year .
Now in current release as a motion picture, My Sister’s Keeper tackles the controversial topics of ethics and genetic engineering. Anna ‘s birth wasn’t just a happy accident—she was planned as a potential bone marrow donor who might save her sister’s life.
